Mr. Giri is associated with SHAPE India since beginning as a Chief Functionary cum Secretary General of the Organization. He has over 35 years of national/international exposure. He was the youngest Director in SOS Children’s Villages of India and covered multiple states like Delhi, Haryana, Assam , Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra for 13 years. He completed his M.A in Social Work from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi in 1982, Post-Graduation Diploma in PSW from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi and LLB from Gorakhpur University in 1986.
