SHAPE India is looking for a dynamic and result–oriented Senior Consultant who can strategize fundraising, create strong project proposals, and design impactful programmes for funding agencies.

Position Details:

• Position: Senior Consultant – (Fundraising, Proposal writing & Programme Design)
• Location: Mumbai or Delhi (Flexible)
• Experience: Minimum 7 years in Programme design, Proposal writing, and Fundraising
• Employment Type: Part-time Preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with SHAPE India's vision.
• Identify potential donors from corporate sectors, foundations, government bodies, and international agencies.
• Lead end-to-end development of high-quality concept notes and grant applications.
• Build and maintain partnerships with donors and funding agencies.
• Represent SHAPE India in external meetings and donor forums.
• Coordinate with teams post-submission and support donor communication.
• Train internal teams in proposal writing, fundraising, and donor engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

• Master’s in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, Rural Development, or related field.

Work Experience:

• 5–7 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, and programme design in the non-profit sector.
• Successful track record with national/international donors (CSR, government, foundations).

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong skills in log frames, budgeting, and theory of change.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with fundraising tools a plus.

Other Requirements:

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Willing to travel to project locations as needed.
