SHAPE INDIA TI Amritsar works with Female Sex Workers(FSW: Females who receive money or goods in exchange of sexual services). Currently we are working on following types of FSWs,

Coverage
We are reaching outto more than 900 female sex workers (FSW) in which we have 322 shifted population and 516 active population. Covering Tungbala, Naushehra, Bus stand, District court, Verka, And Vallah, till now we have found 15 HIV Positive cases.Currently we are working with Massage Parlours andhave covered more than 40 massage parloursto setup HIV testing and RMC camps.
Strategy
For upcoming financial year, we are planningto start working with multipleMassage Parlours and work for female sex workers who are working in these Massage Parlours. We plan to setup camps and conduct multiple events to educate the population about HIV prevention. We plan to provide HIV easy to access HIV Testing camps, counsellor services to the targeted population.
We are also conducting SOA (STRENGHTING OUTREACH ACTIVITY) in which we conduct total 6 SOA camps.
Outcome
• With proper strategy, SHAPE India was able to achieve 100% condom distribution to the registered targeted population.
• Regular RMC are conducted for the targeted environment.
• Health Camps and multiple community events are organized to educate the population.
• We have registered 945 HRG’s with us, in which we found 15 positive cases.
